1. Overview

HireFlow ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that helps job seekers tailor their resumes to job postings using AI. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how your data is handled.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Resume content (PDF/DOCX): Uploaded by you to enable AI tailoring
• Job listing content: Title and description read from the active browser tab
• Account information: Email address used to create your HireFlow account
• Authentication tokens: To maintain your login session locally
• Application log entries: Job titles, companies, and statuses you manually save

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Tailor your resume to a specific job description using AI
• Generate ATS keyword scores based on your resume and job content
• Generate personalized cover letters
• Store your application history for your personal tracking

4. Third-Party Services

To provide AI functionality, resume content and job descriptions are transmitted to the Anthropic API (api.anthropic.com) for processing. Anthropic processes this data solely to generate responses and does not store or train on your data per their API usage policy. No data is sold or shared with any other third party.

5. Data Storage

• Your resume file is stored locally in your browser via Chrome Storage
• Application logs and session tokens are stored locally on your device
• We do not maintain a server-side database of your resume content

6. Data Retention

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at reddypintu59@gmail.com. Local storage data can be cleared by uninstalling the extension.

7. Data We Do Not Collect

• Browsing history or visited URLs beyond the active job listing page
• Keystrokes, mouse movements, or user activity
• Financial or payment information
• Health information
• Any data from pages where the extension is not actively open

8. Children's Privacy

HireFlow is not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the extension evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the extension constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
